Local Guide To U-Pick Strawberries

June 9, 2019

The strawberry season has arrived, marking the beginning of the glorious summer bounty that will roll out in the coming weeks. If you haven't gotten your share of the sweet, ruby red gems yet, you might want to do it pretty fast. The normally fleeting season for strawberries is forecasted by local farmers to be even shorter than ever (like a couple of weeks, depending on the weather).

Luckily, there is no shortage of fields to pick the plump berries around Southwest Michigan. We've put together an exhaustive list of local U-pick farms, but -- pro tip -- we strongly recommend checking their social media pages or websites, or giving them a call before heading out to check current conditions.

Now let's stock up before these delicious beauties are gone.
