Hop, Hop, Hooray! Your Guide To Local Easter Festivities

A good Easter looks like this: classic egg dye from the supermarket, a backyard egg hunt, baskets of chocolates and jellybeans, and a simple quiche for brunch. But, if you want to take the holiday up a notch, you'll find loads of fun festivities slated for the next two weekends.

We've put together of guide of local Easter Bunny visits, egg hunts (in the water, from the air and everything in between), a silly parade, the best brunches and a whole citywide celebration just for you. So get hoppin'!

BUNNY VISITS

New Holland Brewing Pub hosts a fun evening of arts and crafts provided by Carolyn Stich Studio. The Easter Bunny will be hopping by too. Free.

Easter Egg Coloring Night

4110 Red Arrow Hwy, Benton Harbor Bring a dozen hardboiled eggs and explore your creative side at Vineyard 2121. Decorating options will include dyes, paints, markers and accessories. $5 per adult; kids are free

Easter Egg Colorfest

Forever Curious Children's Museum hosts fun methods for coloring hard-boiled eggs, including marbling, tie-dyeing, natural and traditional dyes, paints, glitter, stickers and more. BYO hard boiled eggs. $5 per family (plus regular admission).

Easter Egg Hunt at the Orchard

March 24 @ 1-3 pm 6431 107th Ave, South Haven McIntosh Cellars hosts an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 3-12 in separate two groups. Juice and snacks will be served afterward. Bring a basket.

South Bend Egg Stravaganza

March 24 @ 7 am-5 pm

South Bend

Don't miss downtown South Bend's spring celebration, with activities, crafts, Easter Bunny visits and fun throughout the city.

New Buffalo Easter Egg Hunt

March 24 @ 1 pm

New Buffalo Enjoy a fun-filled time with the Easter Bunny and the annual American Legion egg hunt. Free and open to children ages 1-12. Refreshments served afterward.

YMCA Egg Hunt

March 24 @ 1-2 pm

Head to the Benton Harbor-St. Joseph YMCA to hunt for eggs and play games. For ages 5-12. Free and open to the public.

Easter Egg Drop

March 25 @ 1 pm

Central Park, Mishawaka

A bounce house, face painting, games and a helicopter candy drop are in store for participants of this unforgettable event. Free. RSVP required.

Crystal Springs Easter Egg Hunt
