The Countdown Is On With These DIY Advent Calendars

I broke down this year and bought the cheap chocolate advent calendars from Aldi. I remember being so thrilled to open up the little windows each day and didn't want to deprive my littles of that same experience. Plus chocolate in the morning = YES PLEASE.

We also put up an activity-based one every year, and I've been doing a little net sleuthing for ideas. If you're looking for something fresh to count down the days till Christmas, check them out.

Fun, festive balloon advent calendar from Not on the High Street. If all 24 would stay inflated until Christmas, I'd do this in a yuletide heartbeat.
