Recipe: Fluffy, Dreamy Sour Cream Biscuits

My favorite breakfast ever just got some fierce competition. Fresh out of the oven, these pillowy biscuits practically melt in your mouth. Adding a pat of butter and jam is a golden ticket straight to the heavens.

Plus they only take 15 minutes to make from start to finish. Get 'em in your belly.

Biscuits | Southwest Michigan Kids

2 c all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 c coconut oil or frozen shredded butter

1/4 c sour cream

1/2 c milk

DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 450. Mix dry ingredients, then cut in coconut oil or butter until it is in tiny pieces. Add sour cream and milk, and mix until dough comes together. We use clean hands at the end. Turn dough onto countertop and shape into a 1" thick square. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut into 9 even pieces. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Eat straight away.

They are, by far, best fresh out of the oven. You can zap them in the microwave for a few seconds, but they'll lose some of their deliciousness.
