What's On This Weekend: Apr 28-30

Another month is coming to a close, which means it's the last weekend to see the Butterflies in Bloom at the Meijer Gardens. Did you make it there yet? The weekend lineup also includes a Jedi Academy, tulips and toys, a boxcar movie drive-in, a boardgames marathon and live classical music.

 

FRIDAY

 

  • Drop the kids off for a night of recreation in Holland while you enjoy some adult time

 

SATURDAY

  • Make beautiful prints from nature at the Holland Area Arts Council's The Studio

  • Try your hand at something new (taichi!) in Holland on World Taichi & Qigong Day of Peace

  • Give the kids an early lesson on finances with a special MoneySmart story time in South Haven

  • Listen to world-class music performed in the Holland Symphony Classics III

  • Celebrate the opening of the new kids' fishing pier at the Wolf Lake Hatchery in Mattawan

  • Snuggle with your pup while hearing wonderful tales at Decadent Dogs in Holland

  • Visit with the Wild Tracks animals at the Curious Kids' Museum in St Joe

 

SUNDAY 

 

  • Enjoy toys galore, activities, cosplay and more at the Tulip City Comics & Toy Fare in Holland

  • Don't miss the last day to see the tropical butterflies in bloom at the Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids
