Recipe: Unicorn Milk Shake
My kids' lips (nor my own) were going nowhere near the unicorn frappuccino while it was a thing, but it did look so very pretty. On a whim today, since it was blazing hot and called for ice cream of some sort or another, I whipped up a magical frozen concoction of my own.

They were wowed. It tasted delicious. There were sprinkles. What more could anyone want?
The best part: It's not chock full of artificial colors and flavors. The other best part: It takes about 5 minutes to make.
If you are really going for the unicorn effect, you could probably sub in Blue Moon and strawberry ice cream :)

Unicorn Milk Shake
Makes 2 servings
2 c vanilla ice cream
1 c plain or vanilla yogurt
1/2 c milk (we used whole)
1/3 c blackberries1/3 c raspberries
whipped cream/sprinkles/colored sugar for topping
Mix 1 c ice cream, 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/4 c milk and the raspberries in blender until smooth. Divide into two cups and stick in the freezer while you finish the rest. Mix remaining ingredients in blender until smooth. Carefully add to cups so the two colors remain separate. Add whipped cream (we made our own sweetened with maple syrup) to both cups and top with sugar and sprinkles. Serve immediately and try not to get a brain freeze.
