What's On This Weekend: Jan 13-15
There's not a whole lot going on this weekend, which means one thing. Well, it means many things, including that it's early January in the Midwest, but it also is a prime opportunity for one of our most favoritest things: Yes Day. My husband and I love Yes Day almost as much as the kids do. It gives us a chance to loosen the rules up a little and simply have fun. It's great. Yes, they choose cookies for breakfast, but that's not going to kill anyone and they might surprise you, like mine did, by asking for actual vegetables for dinner. Happy to oblige!
Take 'em bowling, head to Chuck E Cheese, collect beach glass, devour ice cream, let them wear a princess dress to bed, let them skip their bath, let them run around the block in their underwear. Seriously. Just say yep endlessly and enjoy the easiest day ever.
