9 Ways To Spend Your New Year's Eve

Countdown to Noon

10 am-1 pm | Forever Curious Children's Museum, Fennville


A year-end celebration featuring crafts, science experiments, a photo "booth" and a balloon drop at noon. A one-year family membership to the museum and four passes to the Holland Aquatic Center will be raffled off (total value of $90). Admission: $4.50 per person.

 

 

Noon Years' Eve

11 am-noon | Holland Civic Center 

 

Stories, dancing, noisemakers and a kid-friendly countdown courtesy of Holland's Herrick District Library. Free.

 

 

New Year's Luau

1-4 pm | Holland Aquatic Center


A tropical pool party with games, prizes, a countdown and ball drop. Maranda from WOTV4 will be attending. Admission: $8 per person (free for members; city residents get a discount).

 

 

New Year's Early Eve

10 am- 3 pm | Holland Area Arts Council

 

Make party hats and noisemakers, watch a puppet show, play games and eat snacks  -- plus experience a balloon drop at noon. $15 per child (adults are free).

 


Family Rockin' New Year's Eve Party

9:30 am-9:30 pm | BAM! Entertainment Center, Holland


Unlimited Rock & Glow Bowling, pizza, party favors and more during two-hour sessions. $59 per lane. Reservations required. A $20 laser tag special is available from 9 pm to 2 am.

 


New Year's Eve Party for Teens

8 pm-1 am | YMCA, St Joseph

 

Games, swimming, snacks and gym time for teens in grades 6 to 12. $15 per person ($5 for additional siblings).

Don't miss a spectacular fireworks display in downtown Saugatuck to mark the beginning of 2017.

 

 

New Year's Eve Skating Party

10 pm-1 am | South Haven Ice Rink

 

Skaters can enjoy music, pizza and a raffle. Tickets: $20 at the door.

 

 

NYE @ SV

9 am-5 pm & 7 pm-1 am | Swiss Valley, Jones

 

Celebrate the New Year on the slopes with fun for the whole family. The evening session includes free "never-ever" lessons, music, contests, food specials, dancing and a torch light parade. Two separate parties for families and adults. No reservations required. Lift passes: $20 per person. Ski/board rentals: $10.
