There's More Than Story Hour At Your Local Library

September 15, 2016

Story Time has gotten us through many dreary winter days, and I looked forward all summer to getting back to our weekly date with the library. But while I was doing some online digging to put together a list of kid-focused library programs across Southwest Michigan, I found SO. MUCH. MORE.

There are movie nights, LEGO block parties, science, music and art explorations, book clubs, coloring clubs, a garden club, a chess club...that's just a sampling. Take a look at the plethora of programs for youngsters of all ages here, listed in alphabetical order by town.

Also, if you see something on this list that sounds completely wonderful but your local library doesn't offer anything similar, it doesn't hurt to ask your friendly librarians if they might consider implementing it.
