12 Nature Books To Get The Kids Exploring The Great Outdoors

We picked up a few field guides at the bookstore on a whim last week to keep handy for our trips to the beach, on hikes and other outings this summer. I'm a sucker for a good nature book (especially the ones that are both visually stunning to flip through and chock full of information), so I thought I'd share a dozen favorites finds with you. 1. Last summer, I taught my two daughters how to play Red Light, Green Light. It was hilarious and they loved every minute of it. It also got me thinking about the old school games that I played as a kid and yes, a year later, I'm still stuck on them. So, are these still popular? Have you taught your kids any of them?
