What's On This Weekend: June 24-26

Kick off the first official weekend of summer with a slew of family-friendly activities. 

 

Friday

- Pack a picnic and enjoy dinner set to live music by The Niche at Kollen Park in Holland.

 

Saturday

- Take the kids to pick sun-ripened strawberries and partake in the summertime celebration at Stokes Homestead near Grand Junction (continues Sunday)

- Enjoy hayrides, a kids' play area, beer garden, log cabin tours and more in quaint Cassopolis

- Get a dose of culture at the Artigras Art & Craft Fest in New Buffalo (continues Sunday)

- Watch the little ones be mesmerized by a magic show and more -- and don't forget to taste the pies -- at Crane's Pie Pantry in Fennville

- Opt for a relaxing evening of soulful tunes with a free outdoor concert by Brad Cole and Friends at Three Oak's Dewey Cannon Park

- Grab your pint-sized prince or princess and head to St. Joseph's Silver Beach for a rousing rendition of irresistible tunes form "The Little Mermaid"

 

Sunday

- Strap on your running shoes, grab your four-legged friend and head to the Paws on Parade Furry 5K, a morning race to raise money for the Al-Van Humane Society, South Haven's no-kill animal shelter

- Stimulate your curiosity at Cassopolis' historic Log Cabin Museum as part of the Pioneer Days
